FitFlops!
shoes 13 Comments »Yup you read it right, not flip-flops, but FitFlops. They’re calling it the new flip-flop with a gym built-in and it’s launching in Ireland today. Forget rock-hard soles, knife-like straps making incisions in your flesh and ankle sprains, this new kind of flip-flop merges three different types of foam in the middle of the sole to work your leg and bum muscles. This footwear has been tested to provide more comfort in walking and tone your legs and thighs at the same time.
They kind of sound similar to the MBT runners that were all the rage a few years ago. MBT claimed to help weight-reduction, tone muscles and improve posture as well. I have never tried any of this new ‘physiological-footwear’ myself so I can’t attest to it’s results but have any of you bought something similar? Does it really work? Have you seen and felt the effects? Leave a comment!
If nothing else these FlitFlops look stylishly bling-tastic and come in Electra Gold, Electra Silver and Electra Black. For more info visit www.thefitflop.com or call Brazil Body Sports on 01-6745916
Pepe Jeans SS 2008: Women’s Collections
Pepe Jeans, bag, dress, my fashion, shoes 3 Comments »I’m a huge fan of Pep Jeans, their modern-urban silhouettes, funky London looks and understated yet very hip designs. Their SS08 collection for women comes in three hot lines: Pop-up Revolution (bright, technicolour 70s/80s nu-rave scene), Urban Landscape (sophisticated and classic) and the 73 Collection ( high sophistication).
I had to get one of their cool, silky spring dresses. It was a close tie between the vivid, hippy silk dress (as seen in pic2) and the bright orange-red satin number (pic 3). Even though the latter was very modern, I knew the bold colour would put me off wearing it as often as I’d like. So the inner-hippy in me won and dress no.2 it was! Here’s a pic I took wearing the dress. Added a wide belt and a tulle skirt underneath for poofiness.
and I got these: Pepe Jeans cute wedges for Spring/Summer! Now if only the sun shone a bit!
