DCU Fashion Show 2008 was a surreal mix of theatrical visuals and an eerie soundtrack. Kudos to the Style Society for coming up with yet another cracking theme, this time being “Nightmares & Dreamscapes”. The frightful, the bizzare, the ghost-like and the phantasmal were embodied in all the elements of the show: from the hair and makeup to the sound and lighting and to the deliciously spooky ‘living-doll’ dance sequence.

FF loved the rose-strewn runway, the perfect touch.

It was a night for Ciaras, as another Ciara won the DCU Model of the Year award.

The winner of the DCU Young Fashion Designer Award went to Ciara Stewart from The Grafton Academy. We loved her sophisticated, wearable designs in fool-proof black. Congrats to Ciara!
