Yet another season at Dublin Fashion Week comes to a close after a three-day fashion extravaganza! The highlight of the festival being the collective designer catwalk show on Tuesday which was open to the public for the first time! Instead of showcasing the next season’s wares, the DFW show displayed this season’s hottest looks by top Irish designers from Heather Finn to Joanne Hynes and from Rachel Mackay to John Rocha. Industry insiders like fashion buyers, model scouts and fashion designers gave talks on how to work in the fashion field and exhibits for the forthcoming autumn/winter season were displayed at the Radisson SAS for retailers and press to peruse.

Fashion Filosofy was there to cover it all.

Deborah Veale showcased her current collection at last night’s Dublin Fashion Week show, open to the public for the first time. Winner of the 2007 Tatler Magazine ‘Woman of the Year Fashion Designer’ award, Deborah Veale’s designs place an emphasis on elegant and luxurious tailoring for the style-conscious woman. Fashion Filosofy found her collection extremely accessible and fresh for spring with loose, mannish shapes in trousers and suits and feminine and floaty frocks in colours of white, dove gray and silver
