I was certain Paul was just a tourist from a different country until he opened his mouth and the swaying lilt of his Belfast accent caught me off-guard. He described his style as “60s New York Factory Chic”. His scarf is from Urban Outfitters.

Ciara’s bright chunky knit caught my eye as I zoomed through Westmoreland street and pretty much came to a halt when I saw this sweater. The blue bobble-sweater complimented her purple robin-hood boots and lavender-pink bag. Sweater bought second-hand from SeSi in Temple Bar.

I loved Ellen’s silk black dress that she got from Oasis, it had a pretty design going round the circumference of the dress. Perfect rainy-day layering with blue tights, and sweatshirt.

If there’s one good thing about the current music trends of nu rave, grime and anti folk, it’s the influence it’s having on high street fashion and street style.
Karen is a born Nu Raver with the bleached hair and neon jewelry, where as Sarah has the Lily look down to a T, but livens up the whole look with bold eye make up. Both love the gold trends in jewelry. We’re just glad to see so many stunning dresses out on the streets. Compared to our recent Opportunity frocks post, you can see how this trend can be worn in such contrasting ways! Is there anything more becoming of a lady than a nice dress?

So there’s this huge crowd surrounding this guy on Grafton St each day as I pass him by on my way home and I’m like what’s the deal? and no ordinary one or two tourists hanging around, not just a couple of kids lurking about, this guy pulls a large one. Big enough to block most of the street. Turns out Charlie from Sweden is some kinda cool magician. His tricks are neat but his jokes are funnier. His jokes may be hilarious but his dress sense is even hotter. He usually has a cute bow-tie hanging round his neck and his beige blazer polishes off the look perfectly. Just flown from New York, he says since he lives out of a suitcase, he doesn’t have that many outfits. But this is not just a costume, this is how he dresses daily.

Men should dress like this. Always. Pretty Much.

Brave Fiona Sheil and Sorcha Kenny decided to go where a lot of girls would dare not go. They chose to part with their huge collection of vintage frocks and accessories in order to raise funds for their acting program at the prestigious Atlantic Theatre School in New York They chose an intimate setting at the Curved Street Cafe in Filmbase to part with their rare finds. Bravo girls!
